On this tab you can see information about this product's relation to TecDoc. You can disable existing TecDoc link using the toggle button or add new TecDoc link by searching for TecDoc part using part number in the search field.
1. Product linked to TecDoc
This product is successfully linked to TecDoc. You can see it's product information.
2. Product has not been found
For finding products on TecDoc we use combination of MPN and brand. If combination of these identifiers is not found on TecDoc the following message appears.
Possible causes:
- The identifiers are incorrect in your suppliers import file (supplier provides incorrect MPN/Brand for this product).
- The product isn't on TecDoc.
3. This is not a TecDoc product
This product information doesn't suggest it is a TecDoc product (product's brand isn't in your TecDoc licence)
Q: What does it mean that products gains TecDoc link when I refresh the page?
This means that this product's TecDoc link wasn't verified. By refreshing the page you completed verification. There are multiple possible reasons why the TecDoc link wasn't verified:
- Most commonly this happens when you add new brands to your TecDoc licence. When you add new brands you need to contact us on info@kvik.shop and we need to handle this. What we need to know is which brands were added and which of your suppliers have this brand. We can then reimport these suppliers to verify the TecDoc links. We handle these request as individual services.
- Product wasn't TecDoc but supplier recently added TecDoc reference for this product in their import file. The system will verify this product during next import.
- Usually when nonTecDoc product gains TecDoc reference in the import file, it will stay disabled. You can publish all your products with TecDoc links in bulk by using bulk task in the "Products" section in admin.
- This product wasn't on TecDoc before. In some cases it can happen that product is recently added to TecDoc catalogue. TecDoc doesn't provide any information about newly added products so in this case the system will verify this product when it's price or stock changes. Eventually you can contact us and we can force verification as individual service.
- Product wasn't available on TecDoc due to error in TecDoc webservice. In rare cases it can happen that the product isn't available during verification and therefore the product remains unverified. The product will get verified when it's price or stock changes. Eventually you can contact us and we can force verification as individual service.
You can verify TecDoc links by refreshing the product's TecDoc tab. If there are multiple products that need to refresh verification you can contact us at info@kvik.shop and we can refresh the verification in bulk. It is handled as individual request and we need specifying for which products do you need to refresh verification (e.g. products of certain brand/category/product group/etc.)
