Individual requirements - iterative implementation
The shop we rent you is a product that has its own possibilities and features. We are still working on the development of the system and thus expanding its possibilities and functions.
In case you are interested in its extension/modification/new functionality and others, we will accept your individual request and proceed in the manner described below. This is always preceded in the first instance by the approval of the price of the first iteration, which is primarily used to analyse the issue.
What is the iterative method?
- Development in parts/iterations.
- It is used for creative work where the order or scope cannot be accurately estimated and priced.
- Charging by units that are relative to the real time required for editing.
What are the benefits of iterative development?
- Measures against underestimating or overestimating fixed prices in advance.
- Transparent invoicing.
Ways to handle individual requirements:
- Submit the request with a description of its intent and benefit (do not describe the solution, an example is provided below), or include technical documentation and necessary information obtained from a third party.
- We will send you the price of the first iteration for approval.
- We will assess and analyse the request. We will assess its implementation complexity and other requirements and evaluate whether we will implement it on the e-shop or whether we will postpone or reject it for the time being.
- If it is postponed for implementation, then according to the system possibilities we will propose a solution on our side.
- It will be submitted for processing after it has been inserted into the work plan, which always needs to be adjusted in case of individual requirements.
- The actual implementation will take place. During or in the course of it, we may send you further iteration prices for approval. If it is a minor requirement, on the other hand, deployment may already take place within the first iteration.
- Upon completion, a review will take place.
- We will inform you of completion.
Example of a correctly described request
Often insufficient description: please move News to the middle of the homepage.
Adequate description: Because we often communicate crucial information to customers that they should notice (e.g. Christmas opening hours are extended to 8:00 p.m. from 15.12. to 21.12.), please suggest a solution where and how to display the information on the e-shop.
Our proposed solution: Instead of moving the news to the middle of the page, which would not look good and would overshadow the list of car brands, for example, we would add an information bar that would be displayed across the entire site. You could edit the text of this line yourself in the e-shop administration and use it for other announcements throughout the year.
