- This chat makes it easier to communicate with customers.
- The advantage is the connection with your Facebook company website and Messenger. The customer has the possibility to start communication on the e-shop and continue later in Messenger.
Follow these steps for setup:
1. To connect, you have to put your Facebook ID in the online shop administration. To find your FB ID, please follow the FB help page here: www.facebook.com/help/1503421039731588
2. Enable the use of the chat window. Click on "Settings" at the top.
3. Select “Messenger Platform” in the left menu.
4. Verify your domain and enter the meta tag.
5. In the e-shop administration, add the Facebook page ID in "Settings", "Connection" and, if needed, set a welcome message.
After configuring those steps, a chat window will appear on your e-shop.
It is not recommended to use multiple chat windows at the same time (for example Messenger and Smartsupp).
