Suspension and deactivation of the supplierSuspension of the supplier
This is a temporary suspension that you can do yourself in the administration. For example, due to interruption of delivery of goods by the supplier, public holidays, etc.
You can suspend a supplier in the administration in Settings → Warehouses and imports→ Change the status of the blue slider.
If you are charged a monthly fee, suspending the supplier does not interrupt the billing.
Deactivating a supplier
This is a complete suspension of data import, including updates.
Once the supplier is completely deactivated, we will stop charging any monthly fee.
If the supplier is reactivated, the import would proceed as if new suppliers were imported. There is a standard import cost associated with this.
We can delete the suppliers in the supplier overview in the administration. However, this would also mean deleting all of its inventory.
Deleting inventory also means:
- If the product tab had only the inventory of the supplier, the product tab would be disabled and the inventory deleted.
- In case the card had multiple inventories, the card would remain active and only the inventory of the deactivated supplier would be deleted.
- In case there are stocks of these suppliers in an already created order, you will lose the information in the order.
