Original parts usually have no links to specific vehicles, so customers cannot find them when searching by vehicle and the parts do not appear among alternatives. kvik.shop can create these links in bulk, based on the aftermarket counterparts found. . How it works. The system takes the number of your original part, looks up the matching aftermarket equivalent in the TecDoc catalogue, and automatically copies that equivalent's vehicle links to your original part. Result: the original part shows up in vehicle-based search results and appears among the alternatives listed for the corresponding aftermarket parts. . What you need to prepare. 1. Merge duplicate brands. Suppliers often label the same brand differently - for example "OE Ford" and "Ford Original". We recommend merging such brands; otherwise only part of the range will be matched. 2. Flag your original brands. In your admin, go to Products → Brands (/admin/products/brands) and tick the OEM/Original option for the brands that represent original parts. Only brands flagged this way will be processed. 3. Let us know. Once your brands are set up, contact customer support. We will run the system update that creates the links in bulk and let you know once it is finished.

Pricing. Bulk link creation is an individual service beyond the L1 support included in your kvik.shop subscription. We will confirm the price with you before we start. More about the scope of L1 and L2 support: docs.kvik.shop/help/kvik.shop-services/l1-and-l2-support . Good to know. A link is created only where TecDoc contains an aftermarket equivalent that can be matched by the OE number. Parts without a match stay unlinked. Processing a large catalogue can take a while. The quality of the result depends on how accurately the OE numbers are filled in on your products.
