# Sharing TecDoc information with advertising systems

The contract you have with TecAlliance GMBH contains the following clause: 2.1.2.2.9. Use of the TecDoc Catalogue Data database and the database contents for advertisements (e.g. banner advertising, retargeting, newsletters) for the project named in the project description is permitted. This does not include the right to publish the database and/or database contents with third-party providers (e.g. sales platforms, price comparison portals, product test platforms). In practice, this means that you should not provide data from TecDoc to third parties such as price comparison sites. This is not a change of terms. This provision has been in the contract with TecAlliance GMBH for several years. If you wish to discontinue sharing data with advertising systems, please leave the option unchecked. If you wish to continue sharing data, check the previous option.
