Recommended banner width. 1500 px if you have Shopfront set up without a sidebar. 1125 px if you are using a sidebar You can upload a banner in a different width, but the resulting display may not be sharp enough. Banner height. The height of banners is arbitrary up to a maximum height of 500px. The recommended range is from 200 px to 500 px. Upload all images in one with the same dimensions. Otherwise, the display on the e-shop will look messed up. In view of the presentation of the banners in the slider, it is important that all banners in the slider have the same dimensions (max 1500px width, max 500px height (ideally e.g. 300px). This will result in a visually smooth display and transitions between banners. For raster images multiply recommended size by 2. (with sidebar: 1 125 x 2 = 2 250; without sidebar: 1 500 x 2 = 3 000). Image format. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG and GIF. However, for banners, we recommend using the GIF format. The e-shop does not apply optimizations to GIF format images and therefore you control the quality (sharpness) of the image yourself. As you save it, the e-shop will display it. Keep in mind that raster images will always be optimized. For full width banners we recommend using vector SVGs that contain vector texts.

Q: I have "Automatically scroll" checked, but the banners are not scrolling. Why? Banners begin to scroll as soon as the user performs any action on the page (basically, just clicking or scrolling anywhere). This behavior is standard and even necessary given the metrics that Google evaluates. In essence, Google requires this behavior as part of website optimization in order for the website to receive a positive rating from Google in this regard.
